Good News Club is a ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship in which trained volunteers by CEF meet with groups of children after school for 1 hour in an approved area by the school principal (usually the gym or lunchroom), or an area where the children can safely meet with their parent’s permission at the school. Permission slips are sent home describing the meetings. There are 6 meetings held one day each week before the Christmas Holidays and 6 meetings held before Easter. The children are given a snack and the Good News Club Leader presents a Bible lesson using materials from CEF Press. This action-packed time also includes songs, Scripture memory, or a missions story and review games or other activities focused on the lesson’s theme. All volunteers are background checked by CEF and are required to give testimonies of faith. All material is Bible based.
The volunteers will come from a local church in the community who would sponsor the Club.
